Terms

These terms
Flatbread (flatbread.io, the site, and the flatbread-cli package) is run by its founder, from India: “we” below. Using Flatbread means you accept these terms and the privacy policy. You must be 18 or over. If you use Flatbread for an organisation, you accept them for it too.
Your account
Keep your password and your devices’ sign-ins to yourself; what is done with your account is on you. Your handle must not pretend to be someone else. If you think someone else has your account, sign every device out from Your runs and write to us.
Your runs
A run you share stays yours. Making it unlisted or public lets Flatbread host and show it, and lets anyone who can open it read it and use what it shows in their own work, including by pulling it into their own agent. A private run is shown to your account only. You can change who sees a run, or delete it, at any time; a copy someone already made is not undone by that.
What you share
Share only what you have the right to share. Flatbread replaces known kinds of secret on your machine before anything uploads, but a pattern can only find what it has a pattern for: read the review page before you press Confirm. Privacy says what is stored.
What you must not share
Do not upload, show or share anything that:
- belongs to someone else and you have no right to share, or infringes a patent, trademark, copyright or other right
- holds someone else’s personal data without their permission, or invades their privacy
- is obscene, sexual, harmful to children, harassing, or hateful on grounds such as gender, race, religion or caste
- misleads about where it came from, or is knowingly false, or pretends to be another person
- contains malware, or code meant to damage or take over a computer
- threatens the unity, security or sovereignty of India, public order or friendly relations with other countries, or incites an offence
- breaks any law
Using Flatbread
- Do not try to open runs you were not given, or to get around a limit or a sign-in.
- Do not use it to collect other people’s personal data.
- Do not overload the site, or reach it in ways it does not offer.
We may remove a run, or suspend or close an account, that breaks these terms, and we remove what the law requires us to. Where we can, we tell you why.
The CLI
We give you a free, personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use flatbread-cli to use Flatbread. Its source is not published; do not resell it or ship it as part of something else. Parts of it come from open-source projects, under their own licences, listed in the package’s THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md. Flatbread’s name and logo are ours.
Runs by other people
A run is one agent’s session as its author shared it. It may be wrong, out of date or unsafe for your code. Read what you pull before your agent applies it. Your agents are other companies’ products, under their own terms.
Price
Flatbread is free to use. If a paid plan comes, its price and terms are shown before you pay; nothing is charged without that.
No warranty
Flatbread, the site and the flatbread-cli package are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. We may change Flatbread, or stop it; before stopping it, we give notice on the site so you can take your runs.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if that is more. Nothing here limits a liability the law does not let us limit.
Ending
You can stop using Flatbread at any time, delete your runs, and ask us at hello@flatbread.io to delete your account. The sections on your runs, the licence you gave, liability and the law still apply after an account ends.
Complaints
Write to the grievance officer, Flatbread’s founder, at hello@flatbread.io, about a run you think breaks these terms or the law, or about anything else here. We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India decide any dispute about them. If you use Flatbread as a consumer, you keep the protections your own country’s law gives you.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. A change that takes away something you rely on is said on the site before it applies; using Flatbread after that is accepting it.
